Throughout the year various organizations within and around our
community have provided generous support to the foundation. 

In June of 2009 MEF held its first annual golf outing, followed by our annual dinner dance and silent auction.  This event helped to raise awareness of our organization as well as more than $9,500 in funds for the foundation.  Our gratitude for their support cannot be expressed in words.  We can however,  and absolutely do, encourage our community to return the favor to these businesses and organizations by considering them for providing their goods and services to you as needed.
